Uniforms

Students and teachers at Montessori & Me wear a uniform each day. Uniforms underscore the academic nature of our program and provide a strong sense of community; no one is different- we are all the same. The Montessori & Me uniforms are simple, comfortable, affordable and durable. Our uniforms do not require ironing, simply wash and wear. 

All students must purchase the basic uniform:

GIRLS:

1. Classic navy blue tunic - Mandatory

2. Navy blue skorts – Optional in Spring/Summer

3. Navy blue pants - Mandatory

4. Monogrammed white Peter Pan blouse, short & long sleeve – Mandatory

5. Classic navy blue cross tie - Mandatory

6. Monogrammed navy blue vest (can only be worn with trousers & skorts)

7. Monogrammed navy blue cardigan (can be worn with tunic, trousers & skorts)

8. Navy blue Crested Blazer – Mandatory from November – April

9. Navy blue tights – Mandatory in winter

10. Navy blue knee-highs/socks – Mandatory in spring/summer

11. Black shoes with grip - Mandatory

12. Bike shorts - Mandatory when tunic is worn with knee highs/socks

Ballet Attire

Pink short/long sleeve leotard worn with pink tights & pink/black ballet shoes Optional: Tu – tus (twirl skirts) & monogrammed navy sweat suit

BOYS:

1. Navy blue dress pants - Mandatory

2. Monogrammed white Oxford button-down dress shirt, short & long sleeve - Mandatory

3. Monogrammed navy blue vest

4. Monogrammed navy blue cardigan

5. Navy blue clip on or zip ties - Mandatory

6. Navy blue dress shorts – Optional in Spring/Summer

7. Navy blue Crested Blazer – Mandatory from November – April

8. Navy blue socks - Mandatory

9. Black shoes with grip - Mandatory

Ballet Attire

Monogrammed navy sweat suit with monogrammed white t –shirt & black ballet or gym shoes

Concert Dress

Concerts are a culmination of hard work by students, teachers and parents. These events are special and deserving of more formal attire. Parents are asked to have the following concert dress available at any time:

  • Full uniform attire including, crisscross tie for girls, clip-on tie for boys
  • Blazer or cardigan for boys
  • Blazer or sweater for girls
  • Black dress shoes

There are approximately 2 – 4 days each month when uniforms are not required. Concert days are indicated on the school calendar.
