Admission Procedures

We have a substantial wait list and encourage parents to register their child early.

Parents who are interested in learning more about Montessori & Me may begin the process by completing the on-line application form or contacting the school directly.

On line Application

The admission process begins with your child's application form to Montessori & Me. The admission process is comprised of the following steps:

1. Application
Parents are asked to complete and submit the application form to Montessori & Me with the required Application Fee of $25.00. Regardless of the outcome, the Application Fee is non-refundable.

2. School Visit
Parents and child will be invited to visit our classroom and meet with a teacher who will assess the child's readiness for our program. The visit will last approximately thirty to sixty minutes.

3. Parent Interview
Parents are asked to meet with the Directress to discuss their child’s development, early educational experiences, and their expectations of a Montessori education.

4. Acceptance
Parents will receive notification of acceptance by email or telephone.

Our goal is to accept families with values that are comparable with our curriculum, methodologies and philosophy.

Wait List & Placement
Once notified of an opening, acceptance must be confirmed within three to five days. If acknowledgment is not received within the allotted time, we will open the space to the next student on the wait list. Families are notified in March of class openings and placement for fall.
