Volunteer Statement

We highly encourage parental involvement and support for the students of Montessori & Me. Historically, we have benefited from the many parents who have volunteered their time, talents, and resources to support our school and community.

Each year, Montessori & Me strives to facilitate even greater and more balanced support. We invite you to volunteer in the activities that interest you. Supporting your school, your children and the community, is an integral part of the Montessori philosophy. Everyone can make a difference in the life of a child!

New parents often ask how they may offer support. We suggest you:

• Become involved, volunteer!
• Share your resources
• Contribute financially

Fundraising & Donations

We have a limited number of fundraising activities throughout the school term. These include our yearly Community Cookbook offered for sale at Christmas and the M&M Phonic-and-Spell-a-thon each May. Funds are used to pay off our Stratford renovation debt, for new equipment and supplies.

Montessori & Me are also members of the Scholastic Book Club. Parents receive promotional fliers throughout the year and may purchase books through this club. 

Annual Giving Campaign

Montessori & Me, like all indendent schools, depends upon the generosity of our community to advance the vision of this school. Through our Annual Giving Campaign, parents, alumni, and grandparents can take an active role in fostering the school's mission and make a real difference in the lives of the students we serve.

Contributions to the Annual Giving Campaign help to bridge the gap between tuition revenues and the full cost of running our program. Every dollar raised goes to support the operating budget, pay down our renovation debt and assures the highest quality educational experience for our students.
