Parent & Preschool Agreement

1. I agree to pay Montessori & Me a yearly registration fee of $100.00.
2. I agree to pay Montessori & Me a yearly Art & Craft Supply fee of $150.00.
3. I agree to pay Montessori & Me $150.00 towards my Parent Fund. This money will be used for incidental purchases and any remaining monies will be returned to me at the end of the school year.
4. I agree to pay Montessori & Me $25.00 for 8 pizza days per year.
5. I agree to pay tuition in the form of 10 post-dated cheques payable to Montessori & Me in the amount of $300.00 for a four-day program, or $325.00 for a five-day program.
6. My child will wear a uniform as required by Montessori & Me.
7. I agree to provide 30 days notice for withdrawal from classes.
8. I agree to pick up my child immediately if s/he becomes ill at Montessori & Me.
9. I will not send my child to Montessori & Me if s/he is ill. If my child has a contagious illness s/he may not return to school until I provide a physician’s letter stating my child is no longer contagious.
10. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Montessori & Me to administer first aid, as they deem appropriate for my child. I assume responsibility for any payments to a physician/paramedic, or for emergency care.
11. I understand that Montessori & Me does not permit or promote violence. My child will not be allowed to hit, strike, bite, hurt, harm or put another student at risk. If this occurs, I will immediately pick-up my child and a conference will be set up with the teachers to establish an action plan for my child.
12. I understand that if my child is unable to adjust to school life, I will be given two weeks notice by the school.
13. In instances where my child is considered a danger to herself/himself or to the other students of Montessori & Me, the school reserves the right to dismiss my child without notice.
14. I agree to sign my child in and out each day, and to provide the school with the names of those persons responsible for picking up my child.
15. When I bring my child to school, I will not leave until a teacher has greeted my child.
16. When I pick up my child from school, I will wait until my name is called.
17. Montessori & Me is not responsible for lost or stolen items, or clothing damaged through play and exploration.
18. I have the right to enter and inspect Montessori & Me without advance notice whenever children are in their care.
19. I will adhere to the parking rules of Montessori & Me
20. I agree that the school may photograph my child for website and classroom purposes only.
21. I understand that Montessori & Me has webcams in the classroom and that I and other parents using a restricted passcode will access this site.
